MIAMI MURALS: CLIMATE AWAKENING PROTOTYPE WITH AUGMENTED REALITY. This is the pilot mural for a monumental new mural series that will raise urgency on local climate issues and motivate over 1 Million Actions. The concept for this pilot mural came from a group of local high school students whose idea reveals Miami’s famous party and material culture as a facade and challenges each of us to consider our own power & responsibility on the climate issue. The concept was adapted and executed by a group of local visual artists in collaboration with a team of 3D artists and musicians who strongly resonate with the vision and mission of the MIAMI MURALS: CLIMATE AWAKENING movement. We invite participants to use their phones to enter our augmented reality experience, where you will be see two futures of Miami and be confronted with an important question. The mural is located at 1800 N Miami Ave in Wynwood, Miami.
